Description
Tenvir EM (300/200mg) tablet is a doctor prescribed complementary drug designed to help in the regulation of Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) infection. With this formulation being manufactured by Cipla Ltd, it is not supposed to form a complete package of HIV Treatment. Emtricitabine 200m and Tenofovir doproxil fumarate 300m are both nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitors (NRTIs) and each tablet comes with it. The active ingredients used here work by inhibiting the activities of reverse transcriptase which is very crucial in the replication of the disease and thus the viral load gets decreased and this means that chances of the body immune system getting to function normally increases.

Precautions
- Monitoring kidney function should be done regularly during the treatment.
- Let the doctor know if you have been diagnosed with past liver disease of the liver, including hepatitis B.
